Ralph, a Madison resident, has enjoyed carving for the past twenty years. Basswood and hand-held tools are used for carving Santa’s. Thirty-seven versions of whimsical and traditional Santa’s are available including Santa’s from many European countries. Driftwood is used for Christmas ornaments and wall hangings. He accepts orders for your special Santa. Songbirds and waterfowl are also available upon request. During the summer season his work is available at Domicile in Sister Bay, Door County. He has taught carving for the last fifteen years.
